ACCESSIBILITY
The park is flat and level. There are metalled roads and plastic trackways, but it will be necessary to cross areas of grass in order to access most of the caravans on foot.
Parking is by the caravan. A regular bus service runs by the Park to go to Skegness, Ingoldmells, Butlins, Fantasy Island and Chapel St Leonards. The stops are 200 yards from
our entrance. The beach is 10 minutes by foot. There is a busy main road to cross but there is a panda crossing. Skegness and the area generally is flat, and there are
easy-access facilities on the buses, and at shops, pubs and entertainment venues. Mobility scooters and wheelchairs can be hired from Seacroft Mobility. They are welcome anywhere in Skegness. Electric motors can be charged in the caravan.
There is a slope at the entrance to the Park rising 10 feet to the main road. All our public buildings have a reasonable entrance width and, where needed, ramps. There are no steps into any public building on the Park.
The caravans are accessed by 2 or 3 steps with a handrail. We have a modified caravan with extra facilities for those with mobility problems, and a long ramp to the door.
Our overall accessibility standard is 2.
Our staff are trained to deal with any customer requiring extra help.
